New Balance and Foot Locker have come together to bring you these rather interesting NB480s. They apparently worked with comic book artists to commission the artwork and the inspiration comes from the current revival of super heroes in movies. Like comic fans, sneaker heads also share the passion of ‘collecting’.
The New Balance “Vol. 1” Comic shoe has Tyvek® materials incorporated into the upper to convey the sense of paper – complementing the black and white comic artwork and the red detailing on the tongue and outsole.
