More Adidas ObyO – Kzk Plants!

Tokyo-born Kazuki Kuraishi has been working with adidas ove the past few years on various collaborative products and creative marketing projects. Acclaimed as one of the most important designers to appear on the Japanese streetwear scene, Kazuki Kuraishi is known for his simple yet eye-catching, and one of a kind creations. One may find it difficult to categorize Kazuki’s diverse talents, since he is mainly known for his designs under fragment design, as well as being an in-demand freelance designer working on album covers for musicians and graphic art for apparel brands such as A Bathing Ape and Neighborhood.

“It’s been a prolific year for Japanese designer Kazuki Kuraishi. On the heels of his own KZK adidas ObyO range, collaborations with Neighborhood and the upcoming Madsaki Samba comes a brand new adidas venture with famed floral artist Makoto Azuma. Falling under adidas’ Five-Two 3 banner, the Plant Pack is comprised of five shoes and two garments all unified by a green laurel leaf trefoil logo. The dark earthy brown sole evokes the soil whilst the insole represents green sprouting grass. The upper is ingrained with faint veins that resemble the texture of a leaf.
