Dave White x Air Jordan 1 WINGS for the Future!
When it comes to Jordan sneakers no other Jordan sets itself apart from all the rest like the Air Jordan 1. The Air Jordan 1 is the shoe that started it all and has withstood the test of time and now it has been chosen to help launch WINGS for the Future, Jordan Brand’s new corporate responsibility program. To honor the program the Jordan Brand will only release 23 pairs of a special edition Air Jordan 1 which will be auctioned off on auction.SoleCollector.com and all of the proceeds will go to WINGS of the future program, and its partner school, Inglewood High School. For this release the Jordan Brand commissioned popular sneaker artist Dave White to incorporate his artwork into the Air Jordan 1 model. The Air Jordan 1 Retro DW will feature Metallic Gold that runs threw a portion of the uppers, around the toe box and a portion of the side panel. Then, White takes on the rest of the uppers which will feature hits of Dave White’s signature stars. Also, other features include Red stripes that wrap around the heel, Dave Whites signature behind the tongue, and custom White laces that feature Gold specks and the text “Wings for the Future.” Finally, the auctions for the Air Jordan 1 Retro DW will end at Monday the 21st at 12:01am, so stay on top of the bids folks, and check out the pics below!
