And the release date changes begin for 2010. For some reason or another Jordan Brand has pushed back the release of the Air Jordan II (2) – White/Metallic Silver/3M. The sneakers were expected to hit select Jordan Brand retailers this coming weekend but now the sneakers are listed for a February 27th release. The sneakers have been floating around on resale sites and were released overseas already so some of you already got your hands on a pair early. You may have even picked up one of the few that we’re listed for sale on eBay. If you don’t have a pair and you were hoping to get em in a few days we’re sad to say your gonna have to wait it out a little longer.

The rumor mill is at it again, this time with word on a possible Air Jordan Retro 11 Low release set for later this year.
According to reports the Air Jordan XI Low “Snake Skin” will be making a comeback sometime in November. May of you may remember when Jordan Brand originally released these in 2001, and may possibly still even have a pair. I know I had a few pairs of the AJ11 Low during my days, however I never picked up a pair of the Snake Skin ones shown here. I can’t say I’m the biggest fan of this particular version, but if the rumor mill is correct with this one hopefully Jordan Brand will bring back some of the other XI Low colorways.

Thanks to SneakerHotline we have a preview of an upcoming Air Jordan Retro II set to release sometime this year adding to the lineup which already includes a University Blue model, a White/3M version and an solid white version part of the Air Jordan Silver Anniversary Collection.
This specific Air Jordan 2 yields a brown leather base with a portion of the upper consisting of crocodile detailing. A black outsole and heel panel adds subtle contrast to the shoes while a (random) red splatter is found near the ankle. Sort of gives me the hiking boot vibe, but then again I’m personally not a big Air Jordan 2 fan. If your into the 2’s, or just into Jordan’s in general, let us know what you think of these. Would you rock em?

One of the most visible fixtures out of Jordan Brand in 2009 was the strong cast of Air Jordan I (1) Retro releases. A variety of retro+ colorways brought some future classics as things continue onwards in 2010 with the upcoming release of this army-esque olive-colored High. The upper includes various perforated panels with a black swoosh. Releasing mid-month on January 16th, 2010

Air Jordan Retro
2009 was the year for the Air Jordan Retro 12, but this year is sure to go to the Air Jordan Retro 6. We have so far taken a look at a Detroit Pistons version, the signature Black/Varsity Red colorway, a White/BlackWhite/Coral Rose version produced as a GS model featuring the use of a speckled pattern, and even a model.
We now have a peek at yet another Air Jordan Retro VI releasing this year, one which is sure to give the Bred version a run for it’s money. This particular version of the Air Jordan 6 consists of the popular White/Infrared color scheme of a color scheme made up to resemble that of the White/Infrared version released back in 1991. The only difference here is that Infrared has been swapped with Varsity Red, which is what Jordan Brand also did to the Black/Varsity Red version.
I can’t be to sure on an official release date at this time but you can rest assured I will keep you posted. I do know they won’t be dropping anytime before March though cause JB has released images of their lineup for the first quarter of 2010 and the sneakers are not part of the releases.

Joining the lineup of Air Jordan 6 Retros set to release throughout the 2010 calendar year comes this version which makes use of the Detroit Pistons color scheme. The black upper is constructed from a buttery smooth suede and shiny patent leather combo with secondary color hits on the heel tab, tongue and lace panel. The inner lining sports a shade of blue which has also been carried over to the sole unit which uses a combination of blue, silver/grey and red on the mid-sole with the blue portions consisting of a black speckle pattern. Keeping with the Air Jordan 6 standard sections of the outsole are translucent.
