Air Jordan 14 “Last Shot” Family!

Jordan hits us with another classic Jordan style for the 2011 holiday season, the Air Jordan 14 “Last Shot.” The Air Jordan 14 “Last Shot” was first seen in the 1998 Game 6 NBA Finals against the Utah Jazz where Micheal Jordan took a mid air jumper from the foul line to put the Bulls ahead with 5.2 seconds left which sealed the deal for the Chicago Bulls 1998 Finals Victory. That moment where Micheal Jordan made the game winning shot not only marked one of the most memorable moments in NBA Finals history, but it also marked one of the most memorable Air Jordan’s in history as well.

The Air Jordan 14 “Last Shot” features Black nubuck around the toe box and part of the heel while tumbled leather makes up the side panel and part of the heel, both materials work well together and are placed perfectly on the sneaker. To add some color to the sneaker Red accents are featured on the Jordan Branding and midsole. Yellow accents completes the sneaker on the Ferrari inspired shield- shaped Jumpman badge.

The Jordan Fly Wade 2 defiantly is one of my favorite designs up to date with such a modern and lightweight design that will deff come in handy for him this NBA season. The Air Jordan Fly Wade 2 Black/White-Varsity Red takes on a Miami Heat inspired colorway which we have seen before during the Jordan Brand Athletes @ Nike Pro Training Camp. The Air Jordan Fly Wade 2 features brand new black leather/synthetic uppers with varsity red accents on the heel and midsole. White completes the sneaker on the Jumpman logos, part of the outsole on the heel, and Wade’s newly designed, personal logo “W” on the tongue.

We are witnessing greatness right now, sneaker heads are always going to remember the 2011 Jordan Brand holiday season drops. Lets being with the Air Jordan 3 III Retro “Black Flip” that no one can hate on because quality of this sneaker is spectacular from the pebbled and premium leather uppers are on point. I know how some of you fellow sneaker heads have been feeling about the quality of the retros the recent past months, but i assure you guys that you can throw all your doubts away with the Air Jordan 3 III Retro “Black Flip.”

The Air Jordan 3 III Retro “Black Flip” features Black pebbled elephant print on the uppers that starts off the sneaker. Premium leather is incorporated on lining and a perforated leather collar, which in my opinion gives the sneaker a more luxurious look. Air Jordan 3 III Black Cement – 2011 Retro!

Few sample sneakers have produced the same kind of outcry as the Air Jordan III Retro that recently popped up in the OG ‘Black Cement’ colorway from 1988. In those images in question, the colorblocking and appearance from a distance is identical to the original, but instead of the classic mix of smooth leather mudguard/tumbled upper, they were crafted entirely in nubuck. This had purists and newcomers alike up in arms, complaining that while a revised Three is better than no Three at all, we simply want our retros to be as close as possible to their forebears. So breathe a collective sigh of release, sneakerheads, for the Air Jordan 3 will indeed hit retailers later this year in its initial makeup, the only significant difference being the heel Jumpman that separate the pre-2000 pairs from more recent drops.

It looks like the Air Jordan 14 will return in at least one additional fashion in the next few months, further deepening the hole in your post-holidays bank account. Following this month’s Light Graphite release and December’s “Last Shot” drop will be this White/Red re-do. Last released in 2006, this sneaker looks true to its OG inspiration, mixing white leather with presumed Varsity Red coloring. Jordan Spizike “New York Knicks”

Both of the Jordan Spizike “New York Knicks” colorways have sparked interest ever since they first surfaced on the web a couple of months ago. We have now learned that both colorways will hit Jordan Brand retailers on November 5, 2011 for $175 each. Each “New York Knicks” Jordan Spizike features sort of a reverse color scheme to the other. One pair owns a blue ribbon colored suede base with minimal orange flash hints and multiple black elements throughout the upper. The other contains the same texture makeup, but in a mainly orange flash upper. JB also incorporated a unique, black and white pattern on the inner lining. Will this be a definite purchase for you in early November?

Forbes Names Nike The Most Valuable Brand In Sports!

Nike is named #1 on Forbes’s Fab. 40 list of the most valuable names in sports. Forbes released the annual Fab. 40 lists, evaluating the top 10 names in four areas: businesses, events, athletes, and teams. Following Nike in the running includes ESPN, Adidas, Gatorade, and Under Armour.

It comes as no surprise that the Swoosh is placed on top. Nike’s value is upwards $15 billion this year, according to Forbes, a 40% increase from last year. Nike arguably claims the most global of the brands and businesses on the list, leading by a 38% share on the footwear market, and values a 9% increase on the Nike branded apparel (slotted at $5.4 billion), compared to last year’s standings.

The announcement comes after Nike released “The Chosen” campaign in June, 2011, emphasizing the brand’s focus on action sports. Action sports are a $390 million business for Nike, according to Mark G. Parker, Nike’s chief executive and president. According to Kantar Media, Nike spent $108 million in advertising in 2009, and $116 million in 2010. Much of the increase in ad spending has The Chosen campaign to thank.

Last year alone, the Swoosh-branded sales stacked in at $18.1 billion (with a “B”). Of that $18.1 billion, “$7.6 billion were in North America, $3.8 billion came from Western Europe, $2.1 billion from Greater China and $2.7 billion from emerging markets,” says Forbes’ editors.

Joining Nike on the Fab. 40 list includes The Winter Olympic Games, ranked the sixth most powerful sporting event, valued at $123 million; as well as Shawn White, ranked the tenth most influential branded athlete, valued at $7 million.

After debris settles and the dust get swept off the Air Jordan 3 Stealths pick up where the Air Jordan 5 Metallics left off. That was just a little shout out to Kanye West the sentence above is his line that i remixed to make it go along with the blog post. But enough about Kanye West what we really wanna hear about is the latest Jordan Brand drop for this month, which is the Air Jordan Retro 3 Stealth/Varsity Red-Light Graphite-Black. Without a doubt this is one of my favorite Air Jordan 3 colorways to ever have dropped, the colors on the sneaker all flow, and look really well together. This sneaker features a mixture of grey tones for the uppers, which is helped by black on the tongue, inner liner, ankle trim and heel tab. Varsity Red accents the lower and upper lace eyelets, as well as Jumpman branding on the tongue and heel. The midsole is also done in black, while white takes care of the laces, contrast stitching and outsole to finish off the sneaker.

Dave White, artist and Jordan fanatic, has teamed up with JB to drop a special edition of his “WINGS for the Future” AJ1. White designed a special, patriotic Air Jordan 1 similar to this for a charity-benefiting auction that raised $23,000 with the sale of 23 pairs. This time around, for his September first release, which will presumably be far easier to pick up, owns more traditional Black/White-Red coloring. Details include a special under-tongue tag, Elephant Print forefoot, nubuck toe box and many other small touches only an artist could think to add.

Air Jordan 2.0 “Gucci” Black/Classic Green-Varsity Red-White!

Pictured below is the Black/Classic Green-Varsity Red Air Jordan 2.0 that’s scheduled to hit retailers on August 6th. The sneakers feature a black base in a mixture of premium materials that include suede, faux snake-skin and tumbled leather. Varsity Red accents slide in on the midsole, eyelets and tongue liner, while Classic Green works the Jordan Wings logo spotted on the tongue. White also manages to squeeze in, appearing on the outsole below the red Air unit. Many have dubbed this color palette the Gucci colorway which has been seen before like on previous Nike sneakers and Jordan sneakers like the Alpha Trunners.

Set to release on August, the shoe features a black upper with the number “23″ embroidered in the lateral heel. Varsity red is reserved for the Jumpman on the tongue and one the outsole. Metallic grey provides a nice amount of contrast on the tongue, while an icy blue outsole sits below.

The Air Jordan 11 XI Retro Low White – Metallic Silver – Black will drop this upcoming month, although this Air Jordan 11 Low was not part of the original run it has alot of hype around it, and many are comparing them to the Air Jordan 11 Concord mids. This Air Jordan 11 XI Low features White leather uppers with a Black elephant print mudguard. Just leeked are photos of what the Jordan Brand has to offer for all of us sneaker heads for the 2012 spring season! Big releases for adults next year which will have retailers selling out of their kicks faster than they can put them on the shelf. For the adults some major releases are the in January when the Air Jordan 10 X Chicago and the Air Jordan 8.0 in the ‘Aqua’ colorway drop. Than, the February drops will include the Air Jordan IV White/Cement Grey, a new colorway of the Air Jordan 10 X in a White/Old Royal-Stealth colorway , and a new colorway in the Air Jordan Spiz’ike. After, the March drops will feature the Air Jordan 8.0 in the White/Black/Red as well as another new version of the Air Jordan 10 X in Black/White-Stealth colorway. It felt like sneaker head heaven in Soho this weekend at Sneaker Con. From hard to find kicks, to dope music, to lovely ladies, sneaker con is always memorable and amazing place to be. A great turn out occurred this past weekend the lines were huge circling the block and people kept coming in even after 7 the time sneaker con was suppose to end. During sneaker con even before the doors opened we had to show love to all the people waiting to get in line. We gave everyone in line Citysole bags so they could carry their sneakers and Citysole stickers for coming out and supporting the sneaker movement. For those of you who went to sneaker con in Nyc and saw our table thank you for showing us love and letting us talk to you. You Jordan Retro fans are in for another treat from the Jordan Brand following the release of the Air Jordan 5 White/Midnight Navy-Varsity Red, the Air Jordan 11 low Retro Black/White-Varsity Red will drop. This retro sneaker once graced sneaker shelves back in 1996 when Jordan lead the Bulls to their fourth Championship title in the 90’s.

The Air Jordan 11 low Retro Black/White-Varsity Red will feature black leather upper with a tonal elephant print leather overlay on the side panel and part of the toe box. Than, varsity red comes into play on the sneakers lining and Jumpman logo to add an extra pop. Finally, finish the sneaker off is a clean white midsole and smoked out translucent outsole.
