There was a lot of speculation on a release for these Special NBA Finals Edition Zoom Kobe IV’s, and now there are solid release dates. The home version (white/purple) is set to release at the House of Hoops on July 22nd while the black version (away) is due to release on August 5th. The white and purple pair are definitely dope. Cop ‘em if you can.
Nike and Hasbro Toys seem to have a very good relationship as they are releasing a Men’s Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen Pack. The three shoe models Nike has chosen for this pack are The Zoom FP (Bumblebee), Zoom Sharkalaid (Sound Wave) and the Zoom Flightclub TF (Megatron). These Transformers x Nike products come in packaging extremely similar to the actual toy packaging. This is what consumer such as myself look for, which is attention to detail. Look for all three to release sometime in the Summer.

Finally, after the short wait here are some pictures of the Nike Dunk Low SB “Blue Lobster”. The follow-up to Concept’s largely successful release of the original Lobster Dunks. The release date is set for June 20th at 11:00 AM. The Blue Lobster Dunk SB’s will be have a special concepts packaging along with Nike t-shirt. The first 200 pairs will come with a special edition Concepts x Alien Workshop skate deck. For all of you guys out there in Boston. I hate you.
Most of you may not know who Leroy Smith is, but after today you will never forget this extraordinary man. Leroy is the man who single handedly made Michael Jordan the superstar basketball player we know him as today. His motivational/training videos has helped ten’s of people, including MJ to become successful in their lives as well as in their careers.
Michael is being inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame this September and Mr. Smith is petitioning to be inducted along with Michael into the Hall of Fame. His reason being, he was the one who made MJ, MJ. Support Leroy Smith and his cause by checking out his website.

Just as a reminder to everyone out there, the Nike Air Yeezy’s release tomorrow Saturday June 6th 2009 nationwide. I guess if you don’t know by now it may be too late, but it’s worth a shot. This is the final installment of the Air Yeezy’s, and there is no word (and probably won’t be anytime soon) on any future releases. The final colorway for the Yeezy’s in done in a very classic khaki and pink combination. Reminds me of the pink/tan Air Force 1’s. Good luck to all of those trying to find a pair or already waiting in line for one.
Lebron James has beat out DWade as well as Kobe for the coveted MVP award. It seems like Nike knew this was going to happen and as produced a special edition Zoom Lebron VI MVP Edition. This Lebron VI is so clean and simple, that it is refreshing to see with the clutter of colorful/horrible shoes out on the market today. The upper is a basic white/black, and across that front toestrap it reads “Witness”. Look for these to release at very select retailers as well as Nikestore.com. I was just checking out some blogs when I came across this article from our friends at Sole Diction. It looks like the P-Rod II line is coming to an end with pictures of the upcoming P-Rod III already floating around, and they are ending the line in style. The latest P-Rod II is being released in a Supreme Dunk Low SB inspired colorway. The toe box and back heel use the famous elephant print. The interior lining is done up in a royal blue color. The rest of the upper is white leather with black accents. Look for these to release at your local SB account in Summer ‘09.
It seems as though everyone finally got together to make a change. We have a new President coming into office in January and like everyone else, I could not be more excited. Hope everyone did their part in this election.
