Nike Air Max 3 White/Metallic Gold

Posted by koutrouby on Mar 12, 2010 in Nike Air Max

Earlier on in his career, while with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Kevin Garnett wore a number of shoes with Nike that sneakerheads still think of rather highly. For example, the Nike Air Flightposite II was a beloved former Kevin Garnett signature Nike sneaker that released recently in a metallic zinc colorway. Now another former Kevin Garnett signature Nike sneaker has once again been made available. The Nike Air Max 3 pictured here also got redone with metallic accents, this time coming in a very shiny gold mixed with white. This pair of Nike basketball shoes is actually available for purchase now from select Nike retailers

Nike Air Max 90 – Metallic Silver/Varsity Red-White

Posted by koutrouby on Mar 12, 2010 in Nike Air Max

With the Air Max 90 celebrating it’s 20 Anniversary you can expect an abundance of colorways and collections to be release throughout the year, including a suspected Questlove x Nike Air Max 90 collaboration. With two decades of history the Air Max 90 has a huge following which consists of the old, young and the inbetween who yet wanna admit they’re getting old (raises hand).

Every month Nike’s been releasing one, if not two new colorways of the Air Max 90 for both the men and women. Last month it was a White/Blaze Orange version for the men, and this month it’s this Metallic Silver/Varsity Red-White version. The shoes don a Metallic Silver leather upper which features perforated detailing on the toe and Varsity Red accents on Swoosh, lower lace panel and around the ankle and heel. A touch of White is fixed to part of the mid-sole and always goes unnoticeable as the Metallic Silver and Red upper clearly over powers it and calls for your full attention.

Nike Air Max Hyperfly – Black – Blue – April 2010

Posted by koutrouby on Feb 19, 2010 in Nike Air Max

Here’s a new shoe from Nike Basketball that fuses their Hyper- and Zoom Hustle series together with some good old fashioned Air Max cushioning.  The Nike Air Max Hyperfly has both the Flywire side panels from the Hyperdunk et al, and the Tony Parker sig’s smooth lines.  This one has a nice team colourway, but it’s releasing just around the time when all schools have stopped playing ball.

Nike Air Max 97 – Metallic Silver/Varsity Red/Black

Posted by koutrouby on Jan 20, 2010 in Nike Air Max

When it comes to the Air Max series from Nike the Air Max 97 has got to be one of the more popular models outta the bunch. Not only do the runners have a stylish build but they also incorporate the full length Max Air-Sole, a feature which was the first of it’s kind back when the sneakers were originally introduced in 1997. The support and comfort the sneakers provided, and still provide to this day have many considering them to be one of the best runners to ever hit the market, and to be honest, I don’t think i can disagree with that.

This year in 2010 Nike will be releasing a few new colorways and a few old colorways of the Air Max 97 for both the guys and the girls. Arriving at retailers now a few weeks before their expect February release is this Air Max 97 for the guys. This particular version consists of a metallic silver mudguard and an upper featuring a combo of varsity red and black. A hint of white is also thrown in to divide the colors and add a bit of contrast.

Nike Air Max 90 Premium LE

Posted by koutrouby on Jan 8, 2010 in Nike Air Max

Nike drops a new colorway in its Air Max 90 Premium, reflective of an Olympic motif, although the blue doesn’t necessarily reflect the usual navy arrangement. Red, white, and blue accents are highlighted on a mostly white and black base. A touch of gold sets off the entire makeup which offers yet another Spring release to the Nike archives.
