Nike Vandal Where are you, Vandal? Other than a couple of previews for upcoming releases, the holiday season was conspicuously lacking Nike Vandal drops. Here’s one for the new year, and it uses the Vandal’s signature piping to dramatic effect. The black lines over a purple underlay make these look slightly cel-shaded, while a snakeskin pattern adds some wildness to the toebox and eye-plackets.

The 2010 spring Nike line looks to be a good line up.A few days ago we showed you guys 3 pairs of dunks thats coming out spring of 2010.Here’s two pair’s of vandals thats also set to release spring 2010.They go right along with the spring color theme.The first pair is mostly neon green and the second pair is a brownish color.Both has the classic vandal vintage to them.No official release date yet but there set to release in the spring.

This holiday season, the Nike Women’s Urban line will grab some inspiration from history of Ancient Egypt. Nike seems to find something interesting in the existence of a mysterious and intellectual civilization. Nike focused on unlocking the code of this ancient art and study its relevance to modern society. Ritual is revealed through the code of material culture, language and dynasties. Nike tried to reveal the ritual by taking inspiration from decadent paintings and symbolic icons. The sneakers we have featured are the new Vandal High in Electrolime as they feature a scarab beetle on the tongue label, which represents rebirth and the ability to be reborn in Ancient Egypt. The history of Scarabs is that they were worn as jewelry, which inspired the colors and materials on these kicks. Check out citysole for hot kicks and new product releases

The Nike Vandal is walking tall once again with this pair of bright party poppers. Keeping it OG with a nylon upper, you can choose between a pink spaceboot with a blinding silver swoosh or the more modest black and midwest gold model. You can pick them up from Citysole come mid-to-late October.

Nike’s classic silhouettes have been given the vintage treatment a lot as of late, connecting the old-school appeal of some of these models with the feeling of un-boxing a fresh new pair of sneaks. The Blazer went vintage last, with two simple colorway releases, and now the Vandal High is coming in two less-subtle versions.
A magenta color and a black color-up will release in October. Each uses a metallic Swoosh and a multi-colored ankle strap. The wrinkly nylon uppers work with the intentionally yellowing sole as part of the vintage look.
