The Vans Era is another iconic style that is a staple for the Vans brand is back in updated colorways. First, we have the Vans Era in a Costume Plaid design that features Plaid uppers with a vulcanized outsole and signature waffle grip bottom. The plaid design is sure one of my favorite patterns that will complete any outfit don’t you think? It is now available in two clean colorways Black – White – Red and Navy – Black – White. Second, we have the Vans Era in a classy Wingtip inspired design. The Vans Era Wingtip features a murdered out colorway, Black suede for the uppers with leather laces and lining. Further details include Wingtip inspired stitching and an all Black vulcanized outsole to finish off the sneaker.

Sneaker Con NYC 2011 Recap!

It felt like sneaker head heaven in Soho this weekend at Sneaker Con. From hard to find kicks, to dope music, to lovely ladies, sneaker con is always memorable and amazing place to be. A great turn out occurred this past weekend the lines were huge circling the block and people kept coming in even after 7 the time sneaker con was suppose to end. During sneaker con even before the doors opened we had to show love to all the people waiting to get in line. We gave everyone in line Citysole bags so they could carry their sneakers and Citysole stickers for coming out and supporting the sneaker movement. For those of you who went to sneaker con in Nyc and saw our table thank you for showing us love and letting us talk to you. The Vans Sk8-Hi (Hiker) edition has just popped up on our shelves here at Citysole in two awesome colorways Black and Grey. First, the Vans Sk8-Hi (Hiker) Black features Black Suede around the the toe and eye stay with nylon Black side panels and hits of black leather which can also be seen in the lining. While the sneaker seems to be all back there is brown suede accents that can be seen on the tongue label and heel to finish the sneaker off. Second, the Vans Sk8-Hi (Hiker) Grey features features Grey Suede around the the toe and eye stay with nylon Grey side panels and hits of grey leather. Also, the sneaker features black leather on the lining, black suede on the tongue label, and black suede on the heel.

If your not familiar with the Rock Band Queen you probably know they’re hit single “We Will Rock You” which is played at countless sporting events. The sneaker features denim uppers with an all white vulcanized sole. Also, the sneaker features Red accents on the top 2 lace holes, stiching, and Queen logo on the tongue. Finally, the sneaker features the Bands Album covers as the lining which i thought was a good way to finish the sneaker off.
